'PlatePivot' was born out of a pure dream: to offer true Neapolitan pizza in London. Established by the Romano family in 1985, our little pizzeria was initially a modest family venture, with recipes passed down from past generations.

Bianca Romano, our progenitor, mastered the traditional pizza craft on her Italian voyages, learning from esteemed pizzaiolos in Naples, where pizza first originated. She came back to the UK with a mission to deliver the essence of Italian pizza, focusing on original techniques and the choicest ingredients.

Our humble 12-seat eatery has now evolved into a cherished community fixture; however, our allegiance to top-notch quality and genuine craftsmanship remains steadfast. Our pizzas come from a wood-fired oven, we prepare our dough from scratch every day, and we prioritize only the best ingredients.

Currently, 'PlatePivot' is still a family enterprise, with the next generation of the Romano lineage steering our enthusiastic crew. While we have welcomed some contemporary methods, the core of our business—creating tasty, genuine pizza that unites people—hasn't changed.
